About

Hey, I’m Kevin. I’m mostly on X, where I post films, games and art I make with Claude. I’ve had an assorted background in finance & operations, developer relations, software engineering, then UI/UX design. Most recently, I was a lead product engineer building AI workflows for finance people.

Next, I’m (the rest is taped over)

"Creator of Worlds" is a project where you describe your dream world to an AI dragon. The dragon generates the planet and takes you there.

Made with Fable 5 and Three.js.

The island in this game is a musical instrument.

While building Isle, I had Claude web-search through studies on how nature helps you recover when you're mentally worn out or stressed.

It incorporated what it found into the game. The top-ranked finding was that water sounds had the strongest effects on mood and wellbeing in nature-sound studies. So it added rain and shore surf.

It also found proximity-audio research: sounds that swell as you approach places. Then it turned the entire island into an instrument. You move around to play it. Every sound is procedural, so no two game sessions will sound the same.

I've trapped the fruit fly in my rabbit r1.

When I shake it, I can see its brain's escape circuit light up

A collage of everything Kevin makes: stills from his films as glossy prints and along a strip of film, sheets from the drawing desk, the self-portraits as a block of postage stamps, a ticket to what do you love?, a punch card, a code printout, paint chips, watercolour swatches, marbled paper, pressed leaves and flowers, all held down with tape, clips and pins, and a red thread run from pin to pin.
